This is our first blog post about Bot and I. We thought it would be a good opportunity to give an introduction of our app.
Bot and I is aimed for helping short story writers to improve their writing, while maintaining full control over the content that they create. We live in an age where tons of content can be automatically generated quickly and easily. At Bot and I we believe that in a world of autogenerated content human-generated content will stand out. Your creativity and uniqueness is more important than ever. Only you have access to your own thoughts, unique ideas and experiences. Bots can’t read your mind (yet?!).
This does not mean you can’t get some help when you write. Starting from a blank page can be intimidating, and Bot and I is specifically designed to reduce writer's block. Technology advancement in the past years has been mind blowing. Today it is possible to provide writers with feedback which is more relevant than it has ever been.
This is exactly what we had in mind when we started working on “Bot and I”. When you write your story, Bot and I will review your text. It will provide suggestions on how to improve the content you already have and give advice on how to move on. The feedback can range over various topics from character development, plot structure, or how to enhance dialogue. It doesn't matter if you write just for fun or maybe want to tell your kids bedtime stories you composed. Bot and I will automatically adapt its advice to the content you write.
Humans are ever learning and ever changing. We believe that writers using “Bot and I” will get better results over time as they adopt concepts and techniques from the feedback they get. Our goal is to boost our user’s confidence in writing and storytelling.
